This paper examines the role & effect HIV has in the lives of marginalised young people in Australia. The ways in which HIV compounds other problems young people may be forced to deal with & how they respond to this life-threatening disease is discussed. This paper is not grounded in research but is a collection of observations & reflections based on a very small sample from an inner city environment.
