This interactive workshop explored: 1) what is adolescence? 2) what is happening in the lives of some adolescents? 3) what are societal/economic influences on adolescents? 4) what are current government policies, legislation, & community attitudes which affect young people? & 5) how are young people dealing with life in the 1990s? The workshop concluded with a discussion of the immense strengths of young people.
