This presentation described 2 of the evaluation actitivies undertaken by Lifeline Australia. The service utilization activity sought to describe caller characteristics during the period of the project. Caller demographics, reasons for calling, level of risk, & call outcomes were reported. The follow-up study sought to determine how callers fare following contact with Lifeline. In particular, the study examined the difficulties callers had in accessing services they were referred to, & the level of problem resolution they achieved after calling Lifeline.
