This presentation outlined the role of “Ken’s Bus” in suicide prevention. Ken’s Bus is a mobile health service which targets homeless youth & those at risk of homelessness. The history of the project was briefly discussed, as were funding sources & operation. The unique aspects of the model which determine its effectiveness in suicide intervention were highlighted through several case scenarios. A video was used to show the bus in action on the streets.
