The YPPI-IA (Young People and Psychiatric Illness – Intervention and Assessement) Program is an early intervention program for young people (age 14-20 years) living in the Central Coast Area Health Service catchment area who are experiencing significant mental health problems & are at risk of suicide. This presentation discussed this program & the research findings of the project, in particular the ASQ-R (Adolescent Suicide Questionnaire – Revised) results. Implications of the findings were also discussed.
