This presentation discussed the Life Promotion Program which was set up as a best practice project to establish a social, emotional, & mental health service to assist the community in identifying unmet needs & developing an intervention program. The program showed how relationships between cultures can be bridged, & how within cultural differences there are similarities of purposes that can be aligned to develop partnerships between health services, community organizations, health professionals, & the communities they serve.
