This presentation reviewed: recent trends in the epidemiology of youth suicide in remote & rural areas of Australia; & the current & potential scope of suicide prevention activities in these areas, & the prospects for their realisation in the foreseeable future. Particular attention ws given to indigenous initiatives & initiative among male youth.
