Based on the strong statistical links between suicide & sexual assault, this workshop explored some of the ideas that guide current practice on suicide treatment & prevention, & the current silence & denial about the links between suicide & sexual assault within most community sectors including youth suicide prevention. Participants learned about the indicators & effects of sexual assault, how to respond to disclosures of abuse, & how to work with survivors of sexual assault.
