Data indicate that mental health disorders, substance use, sexually transmitted diseases, & suicide rates have been increasing among youth in Australia. The major challenge facing youth health educators & promotors is engaging young people in health promotion. This unpublished version of an editorial discusses how the Internet can be used as a channel for prevention & health promotion activities.
