This report evaluates the Aboriginal Suicide Prevention Workshop. The goals of the workshop were to establish effective suicide prevention in Aboriginal communities & to create a healthy bond between these communities & the RCMP. The evaluation included three sites in Alberta, the Northwest Territories, & Prince Edward Island. The evaluation was based on recorded interviews with participants. The workshop was considered a success in Rocky Mountain House. The Yellowknife workshop was deemed successful after a review of the transcripts. Many ideas from the Lennox Island workshop were viewed as successful because of their similiarity findings from Rocky Mountain House.
