This study compared 104 women from Montreal on selected personality & psychiatric features. Of these women, 55 exhibited active bulimic symptoms, 18 were in remission from a bulimic eating disorder, & 31 showed no evidence of a past or present eating disorder. Results indicate that active bulimics scored significantly higher on measures for depression, risk of suicide, & anxiety. (14 refs) (SC)
