This chapter presents personal accounts of the shootings that occurred at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. Possible reasons are offered for the mass homicide & the subsequent suicides of the adolescent perpetrators. The narrators speculate on the role of social ostracization, depression, loneliness, & suicidal thoughts that they believe were influential in the perpetratorsÕ actions.
