This presentation described the review process of the Air Mobility Command after a completed suicide. The goal of the review is to find out what can be learned from the death. Some of the lessons learned the review officers have identified include: the need to have awareness training at the level of those who can have the most impact – peers & co-workers; provide debriefing to address the impact of traumatic events on peers; & understanding that each completed suicide is a unique event.
