Psychopathology and Attrition in the Baltimore ECA 15-Year Follow-Up 1981-1996

Predictors of non-response were investigated in a 15-year follow-up (1981-1996) of 3,481 individuals from the household population of East Baltimore. A total of 3,056 respondents of the original sample were traced. Sample mortality was influenced by specific mental disorders as mania, drug abuse/dependency, antisocial personality, cognitive impairment, phobia, & comorbidity. Of the chort 170 ahd attempted suicide, & 375 reported suicide ideation.
