Based on the results of this study, the authors regard acute psychic crises in childhood & adolescence not as an expression & excerbation of disease states, but mainly as a normative crises, that is directly associated with a familial conflict situation. The authors’ share the opinion that including the family in any therapeutic intervention in adolescent crises is not only necessary, but also important for supporting & changing the social network & for the effectiveness of interventions.
