The Role of Objective Personality Inventories in Suicide Risk Assessment: an Evaluation and Proposal

This article reviews the research on the efficacy of selected personality inventories in predicting suicidality, including the: California Psychological Inventory, Edwards Personal Preference Schedule, Eysenck Personality Tests, Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory (I-III), MMPI, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, 16 Personality Factor Test, Neuroticism, Extroversion, Openness Personality Inventory, & Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire.
