This document is an overview of The Netherlands decriminalization of euthanasia & physician-assisted suicide(PAS). This Executive Summary was submitted to the United States Constitution committee & gives case studies, 1990 suicide statistics, & both public & professional reactions to Netherland policies in euthanasia & PAS. The Netherlands are extensively studied as they are the only country in the world to stop actively pursuing criminal charges in euthanasia or PAS situations.
