The case of koro-like syndrome, a syndrome considered culturally specific to Asia, is reported in a 34-year-old Bedouin male living in Israel. The patient’s disturbance was accompanied by voyeurism, psychosis, & mixed personality disorder with paranoid & antisocial traits. Towards the end of his hospital stay, his delusions disappeared & his suicidal thoughts diminished. He refused any medications & was discharged against medical advice. (34 refs.)
