25 medical specialities currently offer board certification in the United States. This article asks if there should be a 26th, namely, euthanasia. The authors argue that the concern is multifold if physician-assisted suicide is allowed – on whom should it be allowed & should all physicians be allowed to participate, or only a select few? Commentary on the arguments raised in this paper is provided by 11 neurologists & neurosurgeons from around the world.
