In this letter to the editor, Scott suggests that poor health care is the reason why Australia’s indigenous community has a life expectancy that is shorter by 20 years than the average. These communities have a higher child injury rate in areas such as falls, poisoning & burns. Aboriginals also have much higher rates of self-harm deaths & suicides. Scott recommends that articles and studies on this topic should be written.
