Official & unofficial statistics are given for suicide-related statistics in youth ages 2.5-24. Listed are risk factors related to youth suicide, & symptoms of depression. The effect of media on suicide rates is discussed. Actions practitioners should take when working with suicidal/depressed children are provided.
