Suicide-by-cop refers to incidents in which an individual engages in life-threatening or criminal behaviour in order to force the police to kill him. This article presents 2 examples of this type of case in which allegations were made that the shootings were racist & unjustifiable. The article concludes with some suggestions about how the police should handle the public response to these incidents, a list of suicide-by-cop indicators & investigative considerations.
