This chapter begins by presenting definitions of euthanasia & discussing the distinction beetween euthanasia & other acts that may result in premature death. The major arguments in support of & against the legalization of euthanasia are briefly summarized, then considered in terms of human-rights issues involving euthanasia & suicide.
