This compilation includes 3 stories from nurses who have cared for suicidal patients or experienced the suicide of a patient (Davidson, Duffy & Vousden). Another story is written from the patient’s perspective of the care she received after she had attempted suicide (Addison). The last two are written by nurses who attempted suicide (Taylor & Watkins). These stories are simply personal accounts – they do not make any recommendations or come to any conclusions.
