The aim of this project was to develop good practice guidelines for caregivers working with people bereaved by suicide. Information was gathered from interviews with 26 bereaved families & an extensive literature review. A time-limited bereavement group was conducted. Strategies to overcome barriers to help-seeking by the bereaved & for the provision of support by caregivers were offered in this poster. Safeguards, guidelines & process challenges in conducting bereavement groups were discussed.
