Barrero noted that more than 10 typologies of suicide exist. In this poster, he reviewed the most common typologies & stated that they do not incorporate assisted suicide. A new typology for assisted suicide, based on doctor-patient relationships, was proposed. A new classification of suicides into not responsible, partly responsible & totally responsible was suggested. The proposed typology harmonizes etiological, preventive & therapeutic aspects of modern suicidology with assisted suicide.
