The Prevalence and Characteristics of Deliberate Self-Harm Among Adults in the Community – a Pilot Study to Develop and Test a Suitable Questionnaire

A study was conducted to develop & pilot a questionnaire on deliberate self-harm, both suicidal & non-suicidal in intent. This poster session presented preliminary findings & outlined the strengths & limitations of the methods that were used. It is intended that the questionnaire will be suitable for the study of a wide range of self-harming behaviours among adults in clinical or community samples.
