This poster presentation described the Kids Help Line, a national telephone counselling service for young people in Australia. Data collected over the 5 years that the service has been available was presented. The proportion of calls logged as suicide calls was found to be relatively low; however, many of the other calls reflected significant issues that may contribute to sucidal thoughts or intention.
