Collaborative Approaches to Young People at Risk of Suicide and Self-Harming Behaviour

This workshop focused on the collaborative development of best practice models addressing self-harm & suicidal behaviour amongst young people. The first part of the workshop examined the Anti-Suicide-Adolescent Program created to network health care professionals. A community development model & peer support program was then used as an example of how the wider community can be empowered with the skills & resources to implement early intervention & prevention strategies.
