This workshop discussed the phenomenon of suicide in rural areas. Three papers were presented: 1) rural youth suicide trends in Australia & possible explanations; 2) the Australian rural youth suicide prevention project; & 3) the prevention of rural suicide in Sri Lanka. Discussion followed.
