Cases of mass homicides in Melbourne (Australia), Dunblane (Scotland) & Port Arthur (Tasmania) were discussed in this workshop. Analysis of British newspaper reports of the Dunblane homicides & Australian media coverage of the Melbourne case revealed many similarities. The presenter invited commentary from the audience regarding media responsibilities.
