Preventing Contagion: Clinical Interventions Following a Suicide

The authors discussed their experiences in developing a number of specific strategies for suicide postvention & reducing the risk of contagion in the community following a suicide. These strategies include working with key personnel such as school administrators, families, police, clergy & the media. The interventions they have developed are included in the Center for Disease Control’s recommendations for preventing contagion following a suicide.
