This presentation discussed a study which identified the needs of gatekeepers in youth suicide prevention. Literature reviews & interviews with key informants were done to determine differing perspectives on training for these gatekeepers. Training programs designed for youth suicide prevention were also analysed. Findings suggest there are 3 levels of gatekeeping & training should address the needs of each of these. A number of recommendations were made by the authors.
