This study sought to determine attempters who are at high risk to complete suicide. A study from Victoria, Australia was used to compare 148 completed youth suicides with 105 hospitalized attempters & 101 non-hospitalized attempters. Findings indicate that those who complete suicide used more violent methods than both groups of attempters. Multivariate analysis was carried out with & without the inclusion of method & results are presented.
