Implementation and Assessment of a Pilot Suicidal Awareness, Identification and Prevention Program Model for State and National Utilization (NCSL)

This study examined the effectiveness of the classroom implementation of an existing teenage suicide prevention program within public school settings in Rhode Island. Information is provided on the study objectives, study methodology & test results. Conclusions & recommendations are discussed. A teacher’s manual by G.J. Fincik is part of the appendix as is an act of the state assembly relating to teen suicide prevention in Rhode Island.
