Continues a workshop report, held at the XIX Congress of the IASP, about health workers’ reactions to the suicidal death of a patient. A nurse relates her experience working in an acute, private psychiatric facility & identifies 3 main events that require organized debriefing: inpatient suicide, severe suicide attempt & post-discharge suicide. Every person involved or somehow connected with the event should be given the opportunity to debrief using formal or informal approaches. (3 refs.)
