Suggested Recommendations for the Study of Suicide and Other Life-Threatening Behaviors

In an effort to upgrade the quality of scientific research on suicide & interpersonal violence, several recommendations are offered. The authors hope these recommendations will improve the design & reporting of work in these areas. They are offered as correctives to frequently observed problems in the study of suicide & other life-threatening behaviour.
