Support in Suicidal Crises: the Swedish National Programme to Develop Suicide Prevention

This publication offers proposals for objectives, guidelines, & strategies for suicide prevention. The strategies include: increasing knowledge about the role of suicide as a means of working out one’s philosophy of life, in life crises & in mental disturbance; improving prevention for risk groups & in risk situations; enhancing professional expertise in helping suicidal persons; & reducing the availability of means of suicide.
