To determine optimal strategies for treating suicidal adolescents, the authors studied familiy predictors of compliance with recommended medication monitoring, individual therapy, & parent guidance/family therapy sessions. Findings state that follow-through was best for medication & individual therapy. Suggests that multiple family/parental predictors of poor follow-thorugh stress that need for alternative or supplemental treatment strategies.
