A review of the book Flowers on my Grave. The book follows the tragic path of Lester Desjarlais, an Ojibwa from Manitoba who took his own life at the age of 13. He was the subject of the longest death inquest in Manitoba history, which brought to light the prevalence of physical & sexual abuse in native communities.
