There has been no comprehensive analysis of the epidemiology of suicide in Estonia. Adult health is perceived to be one of the main public health issues. Suicide is an important contributor to adult mortality. This study examined which groups are at risk of suicide. Preventive & rehabilitation strategies are offered for health promotion activities with the objective of reducing suicide mortality in Estonia.
