This editorial questions two articles on the use of anti-depressants. John A. Henry and colleagues, had an error in the daily dose for dothiepin in his paper, (78mg) should have been 150 mg. This agrees with a clinical study that showed that dothiepin has greater toxicity in overdose than other tricyclic antidepressants. In the study by Susan S. Jick and colleagues, he questions the inclusion of flupenthixol, which is more likely to be used for schizophrenia than depression.
