This study examines the genetical tendancy of adolescents to develop Major Depressive Disorder(MDD) through a comparison study of MDD adolescents and their familes to adolescents of apparant normal psychological make up.After examing 76 MDDadolescents, researchers found that MDD is much more likely to develop generationally if it develops early in the parent or close relative, while MDD development in the parent/relative after the age of 60 seems to have little effect in gentic outcome.
