A Review of Firearm Statistics and Regulations in Selected Countries (Draft)

This study provides a brief overview of firearm statistics and regulations in seven countries. Statistics on firearm usage in suicides in Australia (2.5), New Zealand (2.5), Japan (.14), Switzerland (5.8), Britian (.4), France (4.0), and United States (7.1) per 100,000 are charted. The information was compiled in Canada between January and April 1995.
