This article compares the attitude of medical students, the Patras Lawyer Association and Patras Court of Justice in Greece, to the USA. In Greece only 5% of the respondent physicians approved of assisted suicide and 3% would be willing to assist a suicide. By contrast, in the USA 53% of physicians approved assisted suicide in some situations and 40% stated that they would be willing to assist a suicide.
