Discusses spirituality & religion (the “god factor”) as a significant resource for well-being & for facilitating suicide survivors’ adaptation to loss. Problems of research regarding the god factor, ways to overcome limitations of researching the god factor, & ways it may be valuable in facilitating suicide bereavement are reviewed. Suggestions for suicide bereavement work as related to the use of the god factor are offered. (LH)
