The Boys Town National Hotline has developed an evaluation tool that provides performance-based feedback to phone crisis counselors for skill development. This presentation provides information on the success of this tool with respect to phone crisis counselors’ skill assessment, predicting phone crisis counselors’ skill levels, & inter-rater reliability. The evaluations of 11 new phone crisis counselors are discussed.
