This presentation asserts that feminist values should be incorporated into the training for crisis line workers. It notes that workers operating with traditional values can inadvertantly interfere with & hinder a caller’s attempts to become healthier. A feminist perspective can benefit both female & male callers & influence interactions with volunteers & the community. Seven supporting factors are identified. Feminism is defined.
