This document reports on an evaluation of group postvention during the bereavement process of widows & widowers who have lost a spouse through suicide. It includes research hypothesis & methodology. Preliminary results show no statistically significant differences between the effects of Bereavement Group Postvention (BGP) & Social Group Postvention (SPG). The implications for psychiatric-mental health nursing are discussed. Sociodemographic characteristics of the subjects are reported.
