A brief discussion of bereavement & mourning in our society is followed by a review of group applications for resolution of uncomplicated grief. Studies describing grief experiences of suicide survivors & community reaction to them are presented. One study that is described was designed to test the effectiveness of a structured group experience using pre- & posttesting with the Grief Experience Inventory. (36 refs.)
